Ward 4 Councillor Stephen Orser appeared before the Environment & Transportation Committee (ETC) on Monday with a request that action be taken to resolve ongoing problems with the pedestrian walkway at Victoria/Leroy.
The Councillor’s written request appeared on the agenda as item #23 along with an email from Karl Grabowski (a design engineer in the City’s transportation department).
This issue first came to light as a recommendation to the 2009/10/19 meeting of ETC. Council subsequently approved some tree/shrub removal and a lighting upgrade but that work still hasn’t been done. And Councillor Orser believes in any case that more has to be done than what has been approved.
