Dairy Queen B&E

A London Police Service media release:

On Thursday September 2, 2010 at 2:49 AM London Police were alerted by an off duty OPP officer about a Break and enter at the Dairy Queen located at 993 Wellington road south. A 17 year old male had entered the store wearing a bandana on his face and attempted to steal some ice cream cakes from the freezer. London Police arrived and observed the youth exiting the store from the drive-through window. The youth managed to fight his way- out of the grasp of police and escaped into the neighbourhood. The youth was later observed by a citizen in the area and he was subsequently located and arrested by London Police K-9. The youth managed to steal $70 worth of cake which was recovered.

A 17 year old male from London is charged with; Two counts of Resisting Arrest, Three counts of Assaulting Police, Break and Enter and Wearing a Disguise.
