Evergreen is a national charity that makes cities more liveable by funding local greening projects. Fido supports Evergreen’s community greening projects with some of the money that’s saved when online billing eliminates the need to use paper.
One of their joint programs is called Share Your Care:
20 projects have received, or will receive, $2,500 in funding from Evergreen. The remaining funds will be distributed by Evergreen to the top 3 ranking projects as determined based on the total number of votes cast by visitors to the Share Your Care site between July 5 & August 14, 2011. The top ranking project will receive $25,000, the second highest ranking project will receive $15,000 and the third highest ranking project will receive $10,000.
