Goderich Tornado

A City of London media release:

Mayor Joe Fontana has extended offers of assistance to Goderich following a suspected tornado that swept through the community this afternoon.

“We are ready to respond at a moment’s notice,” the Mayor said. “At times like these, all neighbouring communities will come together to assist in any way we can.”

City forestry, public works and emergency services staff are prepared to lend assistance when requested.

New Program Director at CHRW

94.9 CHRW (Radio Western) has a new program director.

Originally from Eritrea, Adulis Mokanan moved to London from Saudi Arabia in the mid-90’s and got his broadcasting start at CHRW in 2006.
